Henrik Jakobsson is a Swedish born composer, sound designer and producer that brings a rare blend of musical talent to Los Angeles. In 1997, after years of traditional western music schooling, Henrik made a pilgrimage to Guinea Conakry in the heart of West Africa, to further deepen his artistic form that today is his trademark.

He started his career in Hollywood at infamous Oceanway Recordings, assisting recording sessions with artists like Radiohead, Beck and India Arie. Later, he moved on to LIME studios in Santa Monica to work along some of the top commercial mixers in the world.

Working against picture, Henrik’s unique, contemporary approach to all music creation strives to unveil hidden messages and codes locked beyond the visual to create a more powerful, emotional impact for the audience.

With over 10 years of experience in film, television, games and broadcasting , both from Europe and in the US, Henrik has worked with notable studios and agencies such as Paramount Pictures, Universal Music Group, Goodby Silverstein; Partners, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Ogilvy and Oceanway Recordings. He has won multiple awards and some of his music is featured in the Paramount Picture release: “GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra”.

Henrik’s recording studio is located in Topanga Canyon State Park, 20 min outside of LA.
